The EVOlution!

So just hours ago Sprint had their press release announcing the HTC EVO 4G.

This is the new superphone.

I really can't talk enough about how excited I am for this phone... so I'll point you to Sprint's page where they cover all the details. Sprint

The announcement today tells us the important information for anyone wanting to buy this phone. June 4th the phone will be available for $199 with a 2 year contract. It will need an unlimited data plan as well as a $10 additional data charge. This is likely to help them expand their 4G coverage which any EVO owner will want to have in their area. The videos of the EVO in action will show you just how much a difference the 4G network will make.

If you want to use your EVO 4G as a Wifi hotspot for up to 8 other computers, it will be an additional $29 per month. Not everyone will need this, but it's not that bad of a price considering a MiFi runs $60 per month.

Apple is having their conference RIGHT when the EVO is being released (probably not a coincidence that Sprint chose the day to release their phone the same day Apple will probably be announcing the next iPhone). I'm going to be buying a new phone soon!
