Squeakers

On Saturday, Steak had to take his car to the Nissan dealer in Falls Church for a tune-up. Since we had an hour to kill and no car, we decided to go on a jog in the neighborhood by the dealership. On our jog we discovered a Civil War trail marker next to Oakwood Cemetery.

Naturally, we followed the trail.
The trail led us to Fort Taylor Park. So we went in and wandered about.
We heard a rustling among the twigs and discovered our new friend...
... Squeakers.
Steak thinks it's a shrew.

  1. Oh my. I'm not sure what that is, but it looks very interesting and a little scary. How productive of you both to go for a jog to kill time when your car's in the shop!
