Disney Cruise Memories: Setting Sail

I finally sorted through all my Disney Cruise photos from my trip at the beginning of August. I had a blast. Disney has to be one of the best companies (if not the best) because they make everything so magical. And, yes, I'm a sucker for magic.

These photos are from the cruise terminal. Of course Minnie made an appearance.

As soon as we boarded the ship, the crew directed us to an amazing all you can eat brunch. The dessert table caught my attention immediately.
Goofy and Pluto greeted us at lunch. We were very happy to see Pluto, because he's sister CJ's all-time favorite character.

After lunch we took a tour of the ship.
The carpet by the bars was a map of my home town! Too funny.
Sister CJ and I went to the adult section of the pool and ordered the drink of the day, the Bahama Mama. Yum!

Then the deck party started as we set sail! CJ and I made friends with Max (blond man dancing in lower left) later that night.

Before dinner we saw a wonderful show called "The Golden Mickys."

After the show and right before dinner we went to play bingo in one of the lounges. My dad got asked to verify the bingo board and got a free Bahama Mama in return. You can see how happy he is. Oh, by the way, that's Pingo the Bingo Flamingo in the corner and Jen, the Bingo Queen!

We ate dinner and celebrated my parent's 25th wedding anniversary. They even got a special cake that they never ate because dinner was so filling!
My dad even surprised my mom with jewelry! Good job dad!
